Some Advice from Fergus

Hi, I'm Fergus the Cocker Spaniel, a dog who just loves getting out and about to explore all around the Sunart, Moidart, Morven, Ardnamurchan and Ardgour.

The area is fantastic for dog walking, with short walks close to Rockpool House for that quick run about first thing in the morning, through to long walks in the hills or on the beaches, where I can burn off all my energy, before going home to sleep it off. My two favourite short walks close to the house are:

1. The Bay of Flies - A safe natural harbour, where you can wander down to the water's edge to enjoy the view – you might spot seals and seabirds.
2. Lochan na Dunaich Trail - A gentle trail through the open oakwoods and then round the lochan, which is said to be haunted by a kelpie (or water spirit).
